More support for broken Fitbit devices regardless of warranty

My watch has broken through water damage, however these are specifically sold as waterproof. When contacting Fitbit, I was not helped in the slightest, I understand my watch isn’t covered under warranty but I expected a little more help than ‘there’s nothing we can do’. My case was closed immediately without receiving a response from me.

Same thing happened to me. The charge 5 product claims to be water resistant but I was in a rain storm with someone who has an Apple Watch (also Water resistant) and mine stopped working and hers did not. When I called customer service they only offered me a discount on a new device as it had just fallen off warranty. I was very disappointed and this needs to be improved!
