Pause step count while biking

Fitbit should automatically pause step counting when I manually start a bike ride.
Similar complaints go back a DECADE, so it seems the company simply does not want to do this,

Any step tracker should accurately track steps - and not wrist wiggles, car vibrations or bike movements. Today I logged 3000 steps while biking...

Fitbit should also delate steps when automatically detects biking
