ACE 3 - unable to find child account

I had the same problem as hundreds if bot thousands of users are having with the Ace 3 in setting up the device for my daughter. If i logged in under my account it could see my childs account in my family group when one was created. If i logged in with my childs account it would complain that my childs account is supervised and would not allow it. So theres no way forward!

i called fitbit support totally and uttery useless quoting fake promises on some humbug fix. That was 12 months ago and still same problem.

Until i came across the response from Mr.Alan that FIXED IT!!! See below:

SOLUTION:

“I've had it confirmed that if you create a Google account, and add it to Family link, it won't work.

You need to create a new child account from WITHIN Family link. Not good enough answer for an already established account linked to so many things. I've just seen there's a great Garmin watch on sale I'll exchange it for. Will strongly be recommending against Fitbit to everyone as you can't even do something simple as set it up. It's broken, they know it's broken, and won't give the fix any priority. "Could be weeks, could be months, if at all".

Google are intent on rendering fitbit useless so they can move customers onto their own google products they have no intention in maintaining fitbit products. You have been warned DO NOT BUY FITBIT PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN.
