Happy with my fitbits over many years. Finally got one for my son and he's very excited! Surprising frustration with the charger.
Could the Ace2 charger be any shorter? Are there other options? Adapters?

Carol, thank you for your response. I am disappointed, and honestly surprised, that FitBit recommends using a third party to provide a basic functionality of the device.
That said, is there a third party product you have vetted and can recommend (to which your warranty applies)?

Hi @TwoPage - For the record, I don’t work for Fitbit so they are not really sending you to a third party. I’m just another Fitbit enthusiast. You ask is there is a third party I can recommend. Yes, sort of. I’ve learned ... the hard way ... to stick to Prime eligible items on Amazon, especially anything technical. Prime eligible means the item is NOT coming directly from China, which can take weeks. I’ve had some real junk come that way. In the US, if it’s Prime eligible, then it’s coming from a US vendor who may still be selling Chinese products, but Amazon has a good return policy and it is easier to return items that don’t have to be shipped out of the country. Just my two cents, based on my experience.
As for going to t third party, here is how I justify it. I don’t expect Apple to carry every accessory I may want for my iPhone and iPad. I also don’t expect Amazon to manufacture accessories for my Kindle. Same with Fitbit. As long as I’m getting the most important devices from Apple/Amazon/Fitbit , I don’t feel bad buying my accessories elsewhere. Let them concentrate on the most important parts.
