I see there are other people having problems with this. Has this been fixed? It’s extremely frustrating and in all reality you are selling a product that a whole heap of people can’t actually use.
To summarise: we’ve used the Ace 2 for about 2 weeks, and now we cannot change to kids view, and cannot do anything without either restarting the phone, or removing and re installing the app.

The suggestion to switch to an Android or Windows device seems a little odd - why would a child using iOS to get the bug then have a spare Android or Windows device?
My son's Ace2 cannot be setup as expected as stuck switching to kids mode. I have my own Android phone yet support guides state only one Fitbit to an account in standard mode so I can't add his Ace without upsetting my setup. Just glad he doesn't know about it yet to avoid the disappointment.
