Ace 2 band breaks easy

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My son's Ace 2 band has broken twice now in the last 15 months. The first one lasted about 9 months but the replacement didn't even make 6 months. Not sure what the expectation is but that's not very long in my book. We weren't a fan of the design to begin with because the band has a plastic piece that doesn't stay put & always slides around so the band comes undone easier than it should. My husband and I have had other Fitbits for many years but haven't had as many issues with our multiple styles as with his. Time to look for a different band maker I think.

My son’s tracker fell right out of the band and was lost. All we found was the harder plastic frame that had ripped out of the band. It won’t be replaced as it isn’t a malfunction of the device. Not impressed it lasted barely 8 months in a product that should be made for the wear and tear by an active child. Not going to bother spending that kind of money on a child’s device with that kind of life expectancy. My adult devices since 2013 last an average of 2 years which is just in the edge of adequate and I was hoping for the same in a child’s product but was disappointed.
