Ace 2 display on time duration, sleep icon and kids’ gender concern

Is there a way to make the Ace 2 display the time for a bit longer please?  My daughter wants it to show for a couple of seconds more at least.

Also why is the Sleep Tracker on the Ace 2 dark and seemingly disabled?

Also why do you want to know the kids’ gender in SetUp?  Can you explain this please?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Pettefar.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concerns about the Ace 2 tracker. Thank you for providing the additional details, I am glad to assist you. I understand that the Sleep icon is disabled on the Ace 2. Have you tracked your daughter's sleep with the tracker already? Do you see her sleep in the Fitbit app? You can find more information about Ace 2 here

I appreciate your suggestion to make the Ace 2 display the time for a longer period. To preserve battery, the tracker’s screen turns off when not in use. While there is no option to change the display time duration, your daughter can tap the screen or turn her wrist to wake up the screen again. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?

To set up an account, you’re prompted to enter information such as your child’s height to help calculate their activity. I understand your point of view regarding the kid's gender and appreciate your feedback.
