Ace 2 fabric band

Hello! I’m just wondering if anybody has managed to find a fabric band for their child’s Ace 2? My nephew finds the silicone one irritating therefore doesn’t wear his often. A woven or fabric band would be ideal.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the discomfort your nephew is experiencing with his band, and your concern about other options for Ace 2 band. For larger sizes or different styles, Ace 2 is compatible with Inspire and Inspire HR wristbands. If the options on the Fitbit store are not suitable, you may want to check with other retailers. For example, Amazon has a variety of third-party bands in different materials for most Fitbit models, if you would like to check them.

@Emma31x  We found some on Amazon for our granddaughters. They both hardly even notice that there on their wrists now. They’re available in packs with five or six fun colours to choose from. Several packs with boy colours, darker colour pack; pastel colour pack; regular standard colours and even neon colour packs. The girls now love that they can match their outfits with their Fitbit bands. Also, these have two buckle holders! Similar to the Sport Bands from the Fitbit store. These HR Bands also fit Ace 2 - so any Inspire bands will also fit the Ace 2 for your kids. We have done this so I know it works well. Also, there are clips that they can clip to their belt buckle, shoe, (bra strap for women- gotta throw that extra info in there, it’s amazing for workouts), collars on shirts.... just look it up in Amazon. Our favourite for the Ace 2 is the fun colour sets. They fit little kids wrists better. Have the double locks- with the prongs to keep the band held in place. Two locks!! It’s perfect for active kids. Here’s that link- highly recommended!!! Lots of colours to choose from and it holds the tracker in place better than the original version. And it’s only $19.99 for a 5 pack of bands.

We’ve same problem here. Awful angry rash. My friend’s son has same reaction to his Fitbit Ace strap. I’m amazed they don’t make them in a fabric like hemp or cotton for children as silicone allergies seem quite common. Very disappointed to have my child’s birthday present thrown in a drawer.

My son has had his ace 2 for about a month and has developed what looks to me like an allergic rash. We are trying it on his other wrist, but looks like I'll need a band made of another material!

The INSPIRE bands work with the Ace 2.
That’s what we have done. Now she has some selection too. I’d highly recommend trying that. Making sure to get a size small.

Best thing to do is buy the Inspire bands instead. They work with all Ace 2 Fitbits. Also, go look on Amazon as they sell a great selection of different material bands made for both the Ace 2 AND lots for the Inspire. This has worked for our family and now both granddaughter’s are wearing their own Fitbit’s like it’s a natural appendage 😉 Don’t give up. There’s truly a lot of options out there. Also, HOPEFULLY Fitbit will get enough complaints and suggestions to make more choices for kids sensitive skins and also a bigger selection so they can have more colours and Fun patterns to choose from.

Up off the couch! And doing fitness and focusing on the importance of being healthy and what a blessing that truly is! Even more so in this pandemic.
