Ace 2 fell out of band

My sons ace 2 fell out of band. How do I get it to stay in secure? Why did this happen?

Thanks for the details shared in your post. Ace 2 should be secure when all edges of the band lie flat against the tracker. For more information, see How do I wear my Fitbit device? Since this is not expected for the tracker to fall out of band, I've sent your information to the Customer Support team so they can get in touch with you and provide further assistance.
