Ace 2 has a black screen

My son's fitbit ace's screen is black. The watch is charged but I can't get the face to come up. 

This is the third time's it happened. I followed the advice like before but it's simply not showing the clockface.

I am sorry to hear your son's Ace 2 screen is black. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend trying the following:

 

  1. Restart the tracker by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Change a clock face:  
  • With the tracker nearby, from the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the account icon> Ace 2 tile.
  • Tap Clock Faces > All Clocks.
  • Browse the available clock faces. Tap a clock face to see a detailed view.
  • Tap Select to add the clock face to Ace 2. Sync the tracker.
