Ace 2 showing previous data on account

Purchased Ace2 on amazon yesterday and received it today have set it up and within 29 min my daughter was showing 6000 steps. When I looked at the steps for the week it’s showing steps everyday considering we only received it today. So apparently it’s displaying she has completed 38000 steps.

Have reset it but won’t go to zero or clear previous data.
