Ace 2 vs Inspire for kids

I bought my kid an Ace 2 and she hates the silicone band. Would an Inspire work for a child? I'm mostly interested in tracking sleep with activity being a secondary focus.

For a child in a family account, you can only use Ace or Ace 2.

However if don't like Fitbit bands, Amazon has a wide variety of third-party bands that fit Ace 2 at reasonable prices.  You could check if they have something that would work.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Fitbit Inspire bands fit the Ace 2, which is essentially an Inspire with kid-friendly software on it. My boys didn't like the chunky Ace 2 bands for their either and now both have sleek Inspire bands on theirs that they love. You will lose the extra protection that the Ace 2 band provides by fully wrapping around the device, but if your daughter can be trusted not to beat it up, there are a lot of band options you can choose from and still benefit from the Kids profile and ability to use it for someone not yet old enough to have their own Fitbit account.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @ozunasawai4 and @NCVincentP. Thanks for sharing your ace 2 band inquiry.

As @JohnnyRow mentioned, a child can only have an Ace series account. Since you mentioned that the band is what your kid doesn't like you can take @NCVincentP's advise that is really good.

Keep on visiting the forums.
