Ace 2 will not set up or restart

Hi

I brought my daughter a fit bit ace 2. I set up a family account, and set up an account for her and I have tried connecting the device via tha app on her device. It tells me that it's found the ace 2 and is connected. Then nothing happens, it just keeps telling me that it's connecting. I've tries restarting the ace 2 by pressing and holding the button and nothing happens it just keeps telling me to go to the website to set it up. It does not restart.

@321steve Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned. 

It's pretty weird that you're unable to set it up and restart your Ace 2. In order to set up the tracker, you will need to create a family account. I would like you to make sure you're doing this procedure to set it up.
