Hi there bought fit bit ace 2 9 months ago for my son. It's not charging not turning on and the face is black...any tips please ?

Good afternoon, this problem still has not resolved and was contemplating throwing the ace 2 away. It's not been mistreated so I'm writing asking for a replacement. It's not turning on and I've tried everything suggested it's not working. Very disappointed son and mom who trusted that this was a good investment.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
