Ace 2 won’t turn on

My sons Ace 2 battery had ran down so put it on to charge. Since then it won’t turn back on. I’ve tried the reset process with no joy. It just won’t do anything, just a black blank screen. I’ve tried changing the clock face on the app but can’t as it’s off & not connected. He’s only had it since October.
