My sons Ace is charged at 91%, but unless I’m holding down the side button, it won’t turn on. I’ve tried holding down the button for 10 sec to restart but it doesn’t work. Again, unless your constantly holding down that side button it won’t stay on.

@Kellykelly2021 Do you have the Ace or the Ace 2?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kellykelly2021. It's nice to see you around, @Jrdubyakc.
@Jrdubyakc Thank you for your support!
@Kellykelly2021 Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. The tracker’s screen turns off when not in use to preserve battery. Press and hold the buttons on Ace 2 to access quick settings. Make sure "Screen Wake" setting is turned on. When the Screen wake setting is on, the screen should turn on when your son turns his wrist. For more information about the Ace 2 display, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
I see that you got in touch with our Support team about this. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide you a solution, just keep an eye on your inbox for further assistance.
I’ll be around.
