Ace 3 Dim screen but dim setting is off

The dim screen is off on ace 3, but the screen looks dim. Online says to find settings and change brightness, but this option doesn’t appear for ace 3. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Fibit Community, @Wonessa. I'm sorry to hear that your Ace 3 screen is dim. Thank you for letting us know that dim screen is off. I'll be happy to assist.

  1. Sync the device in the Fitbit app.
    1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices.
    2. Choose the device they want to sync.
    3. Tap Sync Now.
  2. Check for available Firmware updates.
      1. With the Fitbit device nearby, open the Fitbit app.
        • Make sure the Fitbit device is charged.
      2. Tap the Today tab > Devices >  your device.
      3. Tap Update.
        • This option only appears if an update is available.
      4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
        • Keep the Fitbit device close to the user’s phone, tablet, or computer during the update.
        • When the update starts, a progress bar appears on the device and in the Fitbit app until the update is complete.
  3. Charge The Fitbit device:
    • Double-check the connection: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port (computer or UL-certified wall charger).

If these steps don't work, proceed to the next step.

  1. Restart the device. Your data won't be deleted. Check How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Changing the clock face via the Fitbit app can sometimes resolve a black screen issue. If the user can access the app, instruct them to:
    1. Open the Fitbit app.
    2. Choose Device Settings.
    3. Navigate to the clock face options and try selecting a different clock face.
