Suggest activating the heart rate monitor for Ace 3:
1. To detect exercise
2. To detect detailed sleep stages
3. To detect heart racing/anxiety
Also add breathing/calm feature.
Kids need sturdy, which Ace 3 is. They can also benefit from these additions. Please update!

Completely agree, this functionality would be really valuable.

I purchased Ace 3 believing that it would provide the same sleep tracking functionality as that in Charge 5.
But, I realised that I was cheated by the ad.
As far as I understand the device itself has a hear rate sensor but it is deactivated.
The company should update the software to provide the detailed sleep analysis function.
In this forum, I can see that a lot of parents purchased Ace 3 mainly for sleep tracking but were hugely disappointed by the misguiding ad.
If the company does not have any plan to update the sleep tracking function, they should explain how the current software generates the simplified analysis chart.

And I just found that the buttons didn't work properly. The product should be much more reliable to be sold in the current price. Compared to the adult versions, it has much less functionalities and less reliable.
I hope Fitbit will read the parents feedback here and will release the next version satisfying parents' demands.
