I've got no answers I'm afraid, but I'm having the exact same issue with my son's. I've trued everything, but it just won't sync or connect to Bluetooth. Hopefully a tech expert will come aling with some ideas!!

I am having this issue. I'm in the United States. I migrated my Fitbit account to Google. I have my Charge 6 on my Google account working successfully. I had to create a new Google account for my child (wouldn't allow me to use her existing gmail account). It allows me add the Ace 2 (finds the device), but will not connect via Bluetooth. I have tried via the Fitibit App to connect as well as phone settings. I turned off Bluetooth, turned it on. I cleared user data on the Ace 2, removed device, added device - all fails to sync after adding. I used an iPhone with the Fitbit app and same experience. What is the issue? It is SO FRUSTRATING!

Same problem in UK Fitbit Ace 3.  Only 1  week old, worked for 3 days OK , and stopped syncing on Tues 20th.  Have tried resetting everything, re-installing, forgetting devices.  My Charge 5 will pair OK everywhere, and I can register the Ace 3 to my childs account, get the 4 digit number confirmed, but at the 'Bluetooth Pairing and Linking' it is not just timeing out and I get no Pair Prompt.

My 6 year old doesn't have his own device, but I can set him up on my phone and tablet in my family group and it worked OK for 3 days fine, but has just stopped.

The box is bust, and the out the box strap popped on day 1 so its likely not returnable.  If it would just pair as it did at the offset !!!

I contacted Fitbit support via phone. They walked me through all the trouble shooting steps that I already tried. Uninstall Fitbit app, reinstall app. Reboot phone. Remove Ace 2 from devices, add back etc. at the end of the call they said the watch was out of warranty and sent me an email for 35 percent off a new device. Not stackable on any current sales.  Not sure what we plan to do yet but the coupon is foot until end of the year.

This is almost exactly my experience but with an older Fitbit Ace 2. My charge 6 has no issues connecting and syncing. The Ace 2 gets stuck at the pairing stage and errors out. Support could not solve the issue and emailed me a 35 percent off coupon since my Ace 2 was out of warranty.

I just bought my kids each an ace 3 as they want to compete with friends and each other. Managed to get the units connected partially and update the time but that is pretty much it. The Bluetooth connection won't allow sync, software updates or watch face changes. Pretty sad, please help Google/Fitbit support!

Just bought my daugter a fitbit ace 3. Brand new running into the same problem. My charge 6 working fine but when I swap to my daisy's profile I can not sync or update it. Though I did get through the initial sync it won't sinc since. Tried rebooting and resetting both

I have worked out a work around to at least get to to sync for now. Created 2nd user account on my phone using my Daughters account info. and then installed fitbit app on there. Really annoying as I have to swap user on the phone then manually since it then swap back to my account.

Hopfully it will be fixed properly by fitbit in the next update but at least it is a way of syncing and changing the clock face etc for now.

Thanks for letting us know about the workaround! Really hoping they get this bug fixed soon.

This is the third time in 8 months that we've had this same issue in the US where my daughter's Ace 3 won't sync. It also still won't display sleep data on her watch. This thing is hot garbage.

Received a Fitbit app update today and it resolved the issues. Hope everyone else isn't experiencing issues once updating the app as well!

Just found this thread and I am experiencing the same problem. I could remove and add the ACE 3 tracker under my child's account, but it only does the partial setup. After the tracker was added, it's unable to pair with Bluetooth. I see people mentioning this is related to software updates, does anyone know how I'd update my child's ACE 3 while it's not Bluetooth paired with the phone?

The app update on Sept 24th is causing the same issues. This is for an
Android phone through the Google Play Store. I'm hoping the next update
fixes the issue.

The only work arrived i know if it's too add a second user account on your phone using your child's Gmail account and set it up that way. Once you have finished setup, swap back to your main profile on your phone. fine it works on the parents profile. Though it says blue tooth is not synced it does work but only every hour or so not continuous sync
