Ace 3 Won't Sync Since Aug 16 Update

Fitbit app on android in Canada. No issues with sync until the Aug 16th update. Removed device and readded. Was able to add to it back to the account. Still won't connect via Bluetooth now.

29 days since I was able to sync either Ace 3 device. It was fixed in one round of app updates then broken again. Won't Google support people who shell out money to purchase these devices?

Such a frustrating situation. So many hours wasted, trying everything possible. What I don't understand is that there is no response at all from fitbit. An explanation or their plans to fix the issue would be appreciated.

I've tried two different trackers on three separate phones and can't get any to work. Been through to support on chat and they just ran through troubleshoot with no success.

Daughter just got new ace 3 as a gift. Exactly the same problem not able to complete the Bluetooth connect process. I don't want to create another Google profile on my phone that's just annoying. Has anyone made any progress making contact with Fitbit to see if there's a new release of the app coming?

Just had another try on the help chat, gave me some more troubleshoot8ng and then said they'd escalate to another team. They said that a couple of weeks ago and I didn't hear anything back.

Still not pairing. I bought 2 ace3 for both my daughters 3 months ago and they do not pair. Does anyone have a solution?

Had a response from technical team, apparently a new version of the android app (4.28) is currently being rolled out so we need to update when we can and see if that, sorts it.

Honestly, 6 or so updates ago the issue was worked out, but the next update brought back to sync problem. Fingers crossed the next update takes care of it again and can be sustained.

No. The customer support is trash at troubleshooting because things you
shouldn't have to do, like create another profile or reset your phone, are
acceptable troubleshooting solutions rather than figuring out what the
problem is.

My app is the 4.28. I guess I can try again and see if works now. When I contacted Fitbit support, after troubleshooting, they offered me a discount on a new fitbit and sent me an email with a discount code. I haven't bought a new one yet. Seems weird since the Ace works perfectly, just won't sync!

Just wanted to update. I have the Fitbit Android app 4.28. I tried again to sync with my daughter's Ace 2. It wouldn't sync. I removed the device, added it again (received the 4 digit code), but when pairing it still is unsuccessful. I followed the steps: reboot Ace 2, turn off and turn on bluetooth - no luck pairing. I exit it out and the Fitbit is added and "synced minutes ago." If I force sync again it just shows an explanation point, so this was not fixed with the 4.28 update unfortunately.

I can confirm same for me on Ace 3,initially asks for pairing code and then gets stuck on a slightly different screen the on the previous version

So grateful I found this thread. Mu daughter has her new ace 3 only 2 days. It works perfectly but i can't sync it to my phone. Spent last 2 days, driving myself nuts, trying every troubleshoot suggestion, to make it sync. Thankful it's not just us with this issue. When will it be fixed I wonder though!
