Ace 3 battery life is too long

This is perhaps an unusual query and possibly a nice 'problem' to have. My daughter's Ace 3 (christmas present) has only needed charging once since we gave it to her - it seems to have at least three weeks of battery life. She's been wearing it every day. 

 

The battery life is so good that I'm concerned that it may not be performing some of its functions - though it does appear to track steps and log active minutes. 

 

The device is synced with a Kindle Fire 10 HD tablet (has Google Play installed so can use Fitbit android app) and I wonder whether it may be that this link is particularly parsimonious in terms of battery requirements for syncing. 

 

Has anyone else found a particularly good battery life for the Ace 3 and if so have you noticed any particular deficiencies with your unit, or any conditions under which this surprisingly good battery life occurs?

Thank you for the information provided.

 

The estimated battery life for the Fitbit Ace 3 is up to 8 days. The syncing process shouldn't affect the battery life.

 

In this case, I would recommend performing a restart to your daughter's Ace 3 by following these instructions.

Hi there.

Did that already. Seemed to make no difference to battery life. Interesting that the battery life I'm getting is around 3x that indicated by Fitbit itself.

Perhaps I have a magic battery? 😄
