Hi, my nephew’s 2nd fitbit ace 3 has gotten broken/fallen out if the strap again causing him to lose the main body of the watch. This is the 2nd time this has happened and only he only received it for Christmas 2021 (now only 3 months old).
Whilst I appreciate children’s items can get broken he does look after his things. Also, the purpose of the watch is to be used whilst doing sports and therefor would expect it to withstand more than general everyday use.
He loved the watch but I’ve lost faith in the quality of fitbit and I’m not inclined to purchase a third.

My daughter lost her fitbit. She is really upset.
The band broke and the whole device and band got lost.
We looked for it everywhere but couldn't find it.
I rang fitbit and they said warranty doesn't cover it.
There is no GPS to track it.
So I did give fitbit a call snd they emailed me saying sorry we can't do anything about it.
The quality of the band is cheap and the device is not really secure the strap.
I am disappointed with this.
They can at least replace it as a goodwill gesture.
