Ace 3 not receiving messages

I’ve got my son an Ace 3, which is linked to my phone. He’s connected with a friend but can’t see any messages from his friend on the watch. He can However see every one of my text messages on my phone. How to fix please?

The Fitbit Ace 3 is able to receive call notifications only. Our team is constantly working to improve our products and services but doesn’t currently have plans to add more notifications to this device. For more information about notifications, please visit this article.

Hi there,

I think you have identified the wrong Fitbit.

This fitbit (child's) does not receive calls. However it does get my messages from my phone, but not from the actual fitbit account it is attached too.

Can you please advise?

For information about what type of notifications your Fitbit Ace 3 receives please visit the article shared in my first response above and open the menu "How do notifications work on my Fitbit device?". In addition, you can check out the User Manual here.

If you are not receiving call notifications on your Ace 3, please perform a restart and make sure Do Not Disturb (DND) and Sleep Mode are turned off. For instructions on how to navigate your Tracker, please visit this article.

My watch tells me I can reseve messages the app says it to but does not show up

My son's ace 3 does the same thing that others reported. The ace 2 did this as well. I have to turn off notifications for my inspire because we will both see MY text messages on both of our fitbits. It sounds like this is not supposed to happens,  but it does
