Ace 3 screen is too dim

I have the same issue as was reported in https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ace-Family-Accounts/Ace-screen-dim/m-p/5367748#M13095.... Tried all that, the screen is still too dim! My other two kid's fitbit is just fine, all three bought on the same day....

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @dad_of_three. I'm sorry to hear that your kid's Ace 3 screen is too dim and thank you for letting us know that you have tried al the troubleshooting steps advised on the shared thread. 

Please make sure that the device is not on do not disturb or sleep mode and confirm that you have followed these steps to restart the tracker:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  3. Press and hold the button or buttons on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
