Ace 3 stuck on Pairing Step

I have the ace3 for my son. It's successfully completing the first few steps but consistently gets stuck here.

I've also run through all the recommended steps with no success

When I click on pair later I eventually get to an update screen which hangs indefinitely

After several android updates I now get stuck on this screen

This is really similar to me. All set up properly and done all the reboot etc. My galaxy phone just will not sync. So frustrating.

I was due for a new phone, and iPhone 15 worked perfectly. Can't believe apple Phone<>Google Fitbit is so seamless while Google phone <> Google Fitbit is :dumpsterfire:
