Ace 3 vibrating alarm doesn’t wake son up

Hi all, bought my son an ace 3. He has to take medication at 11pm. In the interest of getting him to be more independent, I have tried setting the Ace 3 vibrating alarm to wake him up so he can take it himself. The first few times I have snuck into his room to check the alarm worked and that he managed to take his meds ok but the watch just buzzed a

few times and then went off without waking him up. Is there any way to extend the alarm so it doesn’t self cancel so it continues buzzing until he’s woken and actively cancels it himself? Thanks

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Nickle22. Thank you for sharing your alarm inquiry.

 

Currently there's no way to extend the alarm duration. I found a couple of Feature Suggestions: Customizable vibrations pattern for Silent Alarms and Alarm Should Vibrate Until Dismissed (on Fitbit devices) they are not currently planned but votes are taken into consideration for future features.
