Ace counting high amount of steps

Had my Charge 2 for over a year. Bought Ace for twins. Added Ace #1 to Family account and synced. When adding Ace #2, it created two accounts (I may have deleted one) however it appears that Ace #2 had an unusually high number of steps (32,000) and when it came in proximity to my Charge 2 and it registered my steps (11,000K) Cannot figure out how to fix as it seems to be linked to the Charge 2.

I went into my account and it shows many steps made when I was sitting for 30 min which seems to be the activity of Ace #2. Why are the two accounts merging together?

@Twin-mom Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Ace is tracking a high amount of steps even when it's not being used.

Please restart the Ace as described in this help article. This will refresh the tracker internally. Finally, monitor the Ace for the next 48 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy
