Ace displays incorrect time after international travel and refuses to change

Hi! We are on the east coast and traveled to Spain in April. Our Fitbits (two Charge 2s and 1 Ace) all automatically changed to Barcelona time after syncing with my phone. Upon return to the US, only the Ace will not change back. I have used Chat and email troubleshooting help to no avail. Hoping to get help from the community as it is useless now.

Below are the steps I have taken multiple times and it always goes back to Spain time:

 *Reset it (push button on charger 3 times)

*Changed the time zone to Atlantic time and sync. 

*Changed time zone to Automatic and sync. 

*Deleted fitbit Ace, deleted Bluetooth connection, reset phone, add Ace back, sync, back on Spain time.

We are very frustrated! What advice can you offer?

I'll add this perplexing piece of info as well. It doesn't reset easily. After pressing the button on the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds, it has only displayed the Fitbit logo maybe twice and I've attempted it maybe 40 times. Any thoughts on this? I've tried quick presses, long presses quick presses with quick pauses, quick presses with long pauses, and every other combination possible.

 

Thoughts???
