Hi there, my son got an Ace for Christmas. Recently it's been running out of battery very quickly and when I charge it, it seems to die after being unplugged. The battery shows fully charged on the screen but as soon as i unplug it, it stops working. The screen goes dead and I can't get it to work again. I re-plug it into the charger and it shows the battery as completely dead. Any help would be much appreciated, it's only 7 months old!
Thanks,
Louisa Knights

@Lou950 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your son's Fitbit Ace since it's not taking a charge and turns off as soon as you unplug it.
I'd like you to follow the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge the Fitbit Ace for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

My Fitbit is 1 year old and it dies randomly. I put it on the charger and it says the battery is not dead. When it happens the screen does nothing and will not work until I put it on the charger.
i will never by anything that is a Fitbit product. It dies randomly and it took 4 month’s to get it. I will always now get a Apple Watch instead of a Fitbit.
