Ace getting notifications even though I've turned off all notifications

Hi

I have an Ionic, my daughter has an Ace 2.   She  is receiving notifications  when I receive emails to my gmail address.     I have turned off notifications both  under  the Ace 2  details and by selecting her picture icon in the top left  -  Under Push Notifications the Messages option is off.

Any suggestions.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SFODUB.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. You can turn off notifications in quick settings on Ace 2: press and hold the button on the tracker to reach the quick settings screen. Tap Notifications to turn them off.

To confirm if the notifications are turned off, please do the following:

1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the profile picture > Ace 2 tile.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Confirm if the notifications are turned off.

You can find more information about the Ace 2 in this manual. For more information about notifications, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you need further help.

I am having the same problem. I have confirmed through the Fitbit app that the Ace 2 has notifications off, but STILL my daughter is getting notifications every time an email arrives on my phone. Please advise. OP, if you have found a solution, please let me know! Thanks!

Hi @vininger, it's nice to see you around.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue. I recommend making sure your own Fitbit device is updated to the latest version: How do I update my Fitbit device? Please restart your phone and try setting up notifications again for your device. You can confirm the steps to set up notifications and find the troubleshooting instructions at How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
