My daughters ace shows that it's charging while off the charger cable. I have tried to connect it to the cable and it won't connect or vibrate. It won't reset. I have checked the cable and it works with other devices , have tried other chargers and I have cleaned the ace so there isn't anything blocking the connection. I don't know what else to do.

The charging cable is unique to the Ace. How many Aces do you have in the house? Are you sure you are using the correct cable?

@sweettina2000 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your daughter's Ace shows the charging process when it's of plugged in the charger. Thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try the following: Please let the battery to drain completely until the Ace turns off. After this, charge it for 2-3 hours (using the original charger) and restart it as described in this help article. Finally, check out if the issue gets fixed.
