Can you only have a childrens fitbit to have a family account? My granddaughter got a inspire for her bday and it wont allow us to connect it.

Sorry, but you are correct.  Family account child can have only Ace or Ace 2.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
