Done a reset 3 or 4 times but the screen is still dim for some reason. It's a bit hard to see during the day for my daughter, dim is good at night...but she doesn't look at it while she sleeps!
..any ideas?

I’m unsure whether the best answer should be the first steps tried.
There is a “Dim” setting if you scroll up on the watch face (not in the Fitbit app). Try setting that to OFF (I believe it’s on by default).

@Milan_k welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your daughter's Fitbit Ace since the screen is still dim even though you have restarted it before contacting our forums.
Please have the Fitbit Ace battery to drain completely. After this, charge the tracker for 2-3 hours and restart it one more time. Finally, check out if the screen gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

I am having the same problem. I bought two Ace threes at the same time. One for each of my children. The one for my son is fine there's no problems with it the screen is bright and easy to read. The one I bought for my daughter is very dim and next to impossible to read outside in the sun. Even inside in a dimly lit room it's hard to see. I've tried adjusting the dim screen setting to off and it seems to make no difference. I contacted support and they basically told me there was nothing they could do and it was out of warranty. I gave them the watches for Christmas in 2021 and my daughter rarely wears hers. Seems to me it's faulty hardware and that other people are having the same problems but Fitbit does not want to recognize that.
