Hi recently my fitbit versa 2 wasn't syncing so I used the troubleshooting page and restarted my fitbit. It then worked perfectly fine. Then this morning my fitbit ace wouldn't sync so I tried to restart it and it didn't even restart. It just showed me the charge. Is there any way for me to get it to restart because I tried early this year and it did the same thing.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend doing the following:
1. Confirm the steps to restart the tracker in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
3. Open the Fitbit app and try to sync the tracker. You can confirm the steps in this help article: How do I sync Ace or Ace 2 with my device?
