Hello, 

My childs Fitbit Ace2 has been working overtime counting steps, he is currently at 915,000 for the day and 1.8 million for the weekly total!!!  I've seen threads on inaccurate step count but nothing like this.  Ive teied restarting the device but it still shows the crazy step numbers, not sure if there is anything else that can be done.  At least he will win every step challenge ever!

@Steve_eaux welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your son's Fitbit Ace 2 since it's tracking extra steps. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please make sure that your boy is not wearing his Ace 2 too tight. After this, monitor his tracker for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
