Ace3 face shows 100 and diamond pattern - no other response

We have an Ace 3 and about a week ago it was plugged in to charge and the face has a diamond pattern and the number 100.  It no longer responds to touch.  We have tried to reboot and no luck.  any time we plug it back in we end up getting the same face with 100 and diamond.  Looked online and tried all of those potential fixes - no luck. 

 

Any advice would be welcome.
