Adding an inspire 2 for a child

So it doesn't say anywhere these can't be used for kids. My daughters saved and just got an inspire 2. She's 9. I'm trying to add to family and it won't let me as I already have an inspire 2 on my account. So tried setting up her own account and as she's 9 it just says go an get an ace.

I can see lots of moans about this from 2 years ago

Why can we not add inspires for kids please  there are many kids under 13 who wouldn't want an ace as it's looks childish. My daighter wanted the same as me.

Is my only option to say my daughter is 13 because I'm not taking it back. Bless her she has it on already please help!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Grumbledmum.

Thank you for your feedback.

I noticed that you were given the link to this feature suggestion to allow more Fitbit devices than Ace to Family accounts. If there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible.

I would like to mention that we don't recommend entering false personal information on Fitbit accounts because data accuracy is based on that information.

Have a nice day.
