After updating app - child’s device and activity was not showing. So set up child’s device again and now all activity is under parents profile. How can I change this device back to sowing as child’s activity and device please?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Minniesurfer. Thanks for asking about how to see your child's stats in the Fitbit app.

ou and your child can see their daily stats including step count, active minutes, and sleep patterns under kid view in the Fitbit app. Note that your child must sync their tracker to see updated activity data in the app.

To switch from parent view to kid view:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap My Family.
  3. Under your child's name, tap Switch to Kid View.

To return to your Fitbit account:

  1. Tap the Today tab

, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Switch to Parent View, and confirm.
  3. When prompted, enter your password.

I hope this information helps.

Hi Andrea, thank you but… I probably haven’t explained this well enough… the child device is showing in the parent view ie:the parents profile rather than under the child’s profile. I know how to change from child to parent and vice versus, but the parent device is no longer being used as now using an Apple device. But still use the app as family members still have devices. And the activity and device of child is not showing in child’s profile but in parents profile… if that makes sense? How can I link the Ace 2 device back to child profile rather than linked to the parent profile as it currently is? Thank you for you help

Sounds like you set it up in the parent account rather than the kid account - easy to do.  To fix it, in the parent account, Click on the device settings and scroll to the bottom and select “remove this device”.  While in parent view, ‘add a device’ and follow the prompts - you have to make sure you select your child’s profile and switch to kid view and add the device from there.
