How is Fitbit so popular? Their app is absolutely atrocious (dead end screens which force me to kill and restart the app, terribly unintuitive UI) and connecting a watch to a new phone is extremely flaky, and god forbid if I have a kids watch without a corresponding phone for the child (why would I even want to give an 8 year old a smartphone?)
The watch itself? Kind of works. But not really. The time drifts _badly_ if it's not always getting updated time from the phone. Charging? I have an older Ace 2, and it doesn't properly connect to the charger (and therefore takes multiple tries for it to even _begin_ charging), and the slightest bump disconnects it.
It's more a glorified waste of money and time, and all I gain is frustration and annoyance.
