Brand new Ace 2 not working

Hi, I bought my twins an Ace 2 each for their birthday. I have been able to sync Twin 1's to my account. Twin 2's has charged for a few hours but the screen is blank. No lights at all. When I try and pair it, it says 'device found' but then it continuously says 'connecting' with the wheel of doom at the bottom of my screen. The screen remains blank but it does randomly vibrate one pulse. He's gutted. Please help!
