Can I set up a Child account with a Fitbit other than an Ace?

I bought my 10 year old a FitBit Inspire and want to set up a Family Account.  However, my only option when trying to set him up is to pair with an ACE.  Is that the only option that Fitbit allows a child to use in their App?  That seems a bit odd as the ACE seems more suited for kids under 10 and the Inspire fits him well.

 

I'm hoping there is a solution out there as we just bought this FitBit.

Sorry, but family account works only with Ace and Ace 2.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@spharrin Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding your inquiry, my friend @JohnnyRow is correct. Please check out this help article which explains more information about the Family account and how to manage it.

 

The Fitbit Inspire needs to be set up under adults accounts, which can be used by users with 13+ years old.
