Can be the Ace 2 set up on a normal account?

I created a fitbit account for my daughter before the option to create a child account.  I would like to get her an ACE 2 to replace her Flex HR however I am worried it will no work with her account. 

Is it possible to wither convert her account to a child account or to connect the Ace 2 with her account in its current state?

Regarding your inquiry, I'm afraid to tell you that the current Fitbit account can't be converted to a child account since you need to create a Family account first in order to create a child account for your daughter.
