I had to set up my daughters Fitbit Ace on my account/phone as it wouldn’t work on her kindle fire, so it’s already a bit confusing. My other daughter has a Fitbit ace too now, can I have them both on my account?

Hi, @SophieFBfamiky, yes, you can definitely have both children's Aces on your Family Account. Do make sure they are set up under the Family Account under their own names, and not on your account.
Basically, on your phone, under your account, create a Family Account. Add a child, then go to Kid view and set up the tracker for that child.
Next return to parent view and add a second child, go to that child Kid view and add the second Ace.
If you try to set up two Aces under your account it won't work. Don't worry if the first Ace is accidentally set up on your Account under your name instead of your child's name. As soon as you set it up correctly under the child name it will disappear from the top level of your account and be where it should be under your child's name.
I hope this makes sense! If you need any more information or more detailed instructions please do post again. There is always someone here to help.

Looking forward to your response!
