This is the least useful app when trying to set up a device for a kid. It tells me I have a family account, but I cannot access it. It should never take an hour to try to sync a kid device and Fitbit app is stupid, useless and worthless waste of time.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Fitsrupid.
Thanks for the details shared in your post. I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. Thank you for your feedback as it helps us to keep improving. I recommend doing the following:
You can confirm the steps to sync the tracker in How do I sync an Ace tracker with my phone or tablet?
By the way, I've moved your post to the Ace & Family Accounts board so we can keep our forums organized.
Hope this helps.

found out that for some crazy reason a fitbit marketed to kids is not compatible to one of the most popular tablets (amazon fire Kids). How ridiculous is this. if i had known i would not have bought this tracker

Has this changed, @LiliyaFitbit? I thought my kids used to sync on their kindles. Switching between their devices and mine on my phone is cumbersome and frustrating. They often lose data because they don't sync regularly - they opt out of using their fitbits as a result.
