Can't add a friend or a guardian to Fitbit family account

We both have a fitbit account and want to start a family to see the activity of our son. But we can't add each other as friend. We even can't even add a friend at all.

I appreciate your efforts and recommend confirming the steps to add a friend in How do I connect with friends on Fitbit? Make sure that you're in parent view and after adding your partner as a friend, you can follow the steps to add another guardian to your Fitbit family account in How do I add a family member or guardian to my Fitbit family account?
