I am disappointed that I cannot change the clock to 24 hour option.  I now regret the purchase.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Lizelle26.

Thank you for the information provided.

Like you mentioned, there is no option to change the time format to 24h on Fitbit Ace 3. Our team is constantly working to improve our products and services. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Have a nice day.

Hi,

Same here, we don't use 12 hour notation in Holland. Please allow to change the Fitbit 3 to 24 hours notation.

Thank you,

Co

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @koeleco.

Our team doesn't currently have plans to add 24h format to Fitbit Ace series. If there is any change, it should be communicated in this Feature Suggestion.

If you have any question, please let us know.

Hi,

Thank you for your swift reply!

I think this is a miss. I've never seen a watch/device here in Holland (Europe) that wasn't able to switch between the 12/24 hours notation. In fact, kids here learn reading the time at that age. It is very important that they learn the 24 hours notation since there is no 12 hour notation anywhere here. I didn't expect this not possible for a watch sold in Holland.

Cheers

Hi,

It seems that the thread is locked (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/24hr-12hr-time-format-on-Ace-series/idi-p/284813...).

How can I comment on this one? I believe there are a lot of people who are missing this for the watch. It is also nowhere noted on the packaging that this isn't possible.

Thank you.

Hi

I agree.

The Ace 3 is sold worldwide customers worldwide should be able to choose the time format. Our children for example learn 24 hour on the digital clock. A simple system update can fix this major frustration.

@EdsonFitbit

Even worse, one digit hours (from 1 to 9) are shown as 01 to 09 that is nonsense.

Correct times would be

12H system

1AM 2AM.... 11AM 12PM 1PM...11PM 12AM

24H system

01 02 03..... 09 10...... 23 00

Hybrid system by Fitbit Ace

01 02..... 09 10 11 12 01 02..... 11 00

Sorry  but I fail to see how Fitbit needs to track community request before fix big problems like this.

Thanks for your comment. I actually had to Google this, and your answer came up, so thanks for finally making it easy to get somewhere. And I couldn’t agree more - after I had bought my son his FitBit I know realise all the little things I can’t change on his. Very user unfriendly.

This is very disappointing! Is it really not possible to change to 24hr watch?! (I have tried without success and found this thread when looking for howto) The Ace 3 was a Christmas gift for my child which I now have to return due to this lack of functionality. I am really not looking forward to presenting this sad news tomorrow… Please explain why this can not be prioritized and also how you have managed to get this product released on the Norwegian marked with this malfunction.

Please categorize it as URGENT, ASAP, CRITICAL

I tried to add a comment on the feature request but it appears to be locked. My daughter's first comment was "Why does it say it's quarter to nine in the morning?". If it's an option on an adult Fitbit, it should be on a Fitbit designed for children too young to use social media. My daughter asked me to change it so it reads in 24 hours like her phone. Now she thinks it is stupid because it uses a leading zero that makes it look like a 24 hour clock display. She's 10!

I've voted for the change to be implemented but the ticket is 3 years old.

After reading all of these reviews, I agree 100%! In school they learn the 24h clock and this is absolutely necessary on this watch... I understand that certain questions can't be included directly in the schedule but this would definitely add value to all children.
