Can’t run both child and adult Fitbit app with stats simultaneously

Spoiler
My daughter has received a Fitbit ace for Christmas and I am completely underwhelmed with the device and software so far. I would take it back tomorrow if it would not upset her so much, and am considering whether to get her an adult one anyway.
So, We have set up the family account using my Fitbit account attached to my own existing fitbit, however the problem now is that if I log into my own account on my device to track my daily steps, then she can only see my Fitbit stats and data on her fitbit app on her phone and on the device itself, and can’t see her own stats. If I log into her account on my device by switching to kid view, then she can see her own stats on her mobile device and the fitbit.  And vice versa, If we switch to kid view on her mobile phone I can only see her account on my device and I receive her notifications
We cant simultaneously run both separate devices and apps with separate individual data .
Does anyone know how to correct this?
So I tried to delete her from my family, so that I can try to add her to my husbands fitbit account (which he doesn’t use so it won’t matter if he gets the kids view on his phone and fitbitas he doesnt look at it) but am worried that my daughter will be stuck with no fitbit for 7 days while we sit out the 7day grace period. What can I do?.

Hi, @Tarluk, I don't have an Ace just now to check on your issues with your account, so cannot address those questions.

However, even though you cannot delete the Family Account on your device for some days, you can still set up the Ace on your husband's account.  So just follow the same procedure on his account.

Create a Family Account, add your child to the account (I think you will need to give her a new user name as the original one will be shown as taken), then switch to the Child View and add the Ace there.

After that the Ace will disappear from her view on your account (even though the Family Account will still be there).

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums.
