Can't set the username for children’s account

We can’t come up with a username. Tried over a 100 different words and it just won’t accept them! Anyone else had this problem?

There are a lot of parents trying to set up kid’s accounts so, as you can imagine, many of the easier names have already been selected. It’s true all over, even if you are trying to set up a new adult Fitbit name or a new email address. So yes, I’m sure many can relate to the issue you describe. Here are a couple tips I’ve suggested to friends. 

• Use a combination of FirstName-Middle Initial-numbers (for safety, do NOT select a birthday.). This is similar to what you did in your own name, but try putting a middle initial in there.
• Start with numbers, then initials. Example: 74CWB
• Place the numbers between the first name and any other initials or names. Example: Carol95WB.

You get the idea. With so many people trying to come up with unique names, it’s a challenge for all of us. Hope this helps!

With so many users, choosing a name must be difficult and even more when it's for your kid's account. You can take @SunsetRunner's advise which I think is great and chose as best answer.
