Can't set up family account

Hello all,

I'm a Charge 5 user and we got my son an Ace 3 for Christmas. I've been trying to set up a family account on my app but doesn't seem to work and even desynced my device as I noticed the next day. Have tried a few times, but same result. Bit of a pain. Any tips?

Same here, takes away the excitement! Very disappointing for child!

In the end though I found another way in. Right hand side icon of “You” on my app, go to “Family” and you can create a child account. Ultimately it can mean a bit of in and out of child account and parent view with password needed but seems to be operable now.

For the life of me I can't figure out what you've got there.  I have two phones here. iPhone 6 and iPhone 8. the 6 and fitbit app, yes that worked.  The 8 doesnt have that option.

This is literally the worst I've seen for managing tech devices as a group/family share.... If I could take them back I would.

It's the device.  Must be the app release #.  I was able to create another kid account on the 6, the option on the 8 is for google family only, the 6 is fitbit family.  

 

Absolute rubbish Alphabet! Worst 'family' grouping design on the internet.
