Can't sign in with a child's Google account

I bought an Ace 3 for my 7-year-old son. He has a Google account that is part of my Family account. I am trying to sign into Fitbit iPhone app using his Google account, but get the following message "Can't use Fitbit wit this Google Account. This could be because you're using a Workspace account, or because your account is supervised". But of course his account is supervised - he is 7 years old and he is part of my Family account on Google. So what can i do? Thanks

I purchased an ace3 for my daughter.  When I installed the FITBIT app on her phone and tried to log into my google account it just shows her gmail acct.  When I go to add my email it tells me Only G suite education may be added t a family link managed account.  She is under 13 so her Google acct is under my family group.  I even created my daughter a fit bit account for herself but when I go to add the ace3 it asks me if I want to add it to  google account.  If I say yes it tells me it cant because account is supervise.  If I go back and choose MAYBE LATER and try to add the ACE3 it wont do anything.  SO how do I get this setup on her android?  It seems solution is to somehow add my google account to the FITBIT app on her phone but because her Google account is famoly linked it wont allow that.  Any ideas/

Exactly the same issue. Been going round in circles driving myself insane and raging. Seems to be a massive ussue, but customer services were useless. My 8 year old now has useless piece of plastic that does nothing. Wish we'd stick with his cheapo anazon tracker that was set up with 10mins. Spent hours on this abd still got no where. Seems like this has been an issue for months!
